This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Yassin was a great server! I had a great experience today! I dined in with my mom for lunch and we ordered the lamb fahsah, chicken haneeth, and foul. Their lunch prices are very cheap. The salad dressing is delicious, the lamb soup was amazing. The bread was fresh and yummy. I will definitely be back and recommend this restaurant to my friends.

Tried this new location of the well-known Yemeni restaurant and it absolutely lives up to the reputation of the original spots. The quality, flavor, and authenticity are just as perfect as the other locations. The lamb harneeth was incredibly tender, rich, and full of slow-cooked flavor. The chicken harneeth was juicy and perfectly seasoned with that signature smoky Yemeni aroma. The lamb fahsah was outstanding as well — deeply flavorful, comforting, and served bubbling hot with fresh and crispy tandoor bread. Great food, generous portions, and consistently authentic taste.

Service was amazing. The restaurant was very clean and beautiful. The food was phenomenal we chose the sambosas, hummus and chicken, and chicken agdah. Everything was so flavorful and the portions were big. Probably could’ve shared one dish. The bread was amazing. Also that Oreo pastry is amazing it’s like a tres leches cake.

We visited this location after previously ordering food from Sheeba in Hamtramck, Detroit. We loved this place because it has excellent family seating. The seating area is huge, which makes it very comfortable to dine with family. The food was absolutely amazing, and the customer service was outstanding. Sammy took great care of us, she was professional, attentive, and truly exceptional in her service. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

I visited this restaurant today for dinner with my daughter, and we were truly impressed. The atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. Ali, the owner, was especially outstanding-his professionalism, mannerisms and characteristics are truly exceptional and beyond words. His kindness and generosity made our experience even more special. We will definitely be returning and we are looking forward to the grand opening of the coffee shop. Thank you, Ali, for such a wonderful experience. Excellent food and service all around. Try it, you will love it. Thank you!
